Where’s the Freight? North Platte, Jonesboro and Texarkana To See High Demand for Truck Capacity in Coming Week

Happy Friday, truckers, and welcome to your end of week edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” Trucker Tools’ free freight market report for fleets and drivers.
Looking ahead to the coming week, you can expect demand for power only capacity to rise as Florida and other parts of the U.S. Southeast deal with the severe damage caused by Hurricane Ian and as freight is rerouted to other locations. Yesterday, the FMCSA issued an emergency declaration for Hurricane Ian that applies to Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. The emergency declaration allows carriers who are providing direct emergency relief assistance an exemption from HOS regulations. If you’re on the road in these areas, please stay safe!
