In this and every edition of our free freight report, you’ll learn where demand and rates for various types of freight will be high, low, increasing and decreasing over the next five to seven days. Looking ahead to the coming week, demand for flatbed capacity is projected to be high or increasing in several markets, including South Bend, Ind., and Texarkana, Texas. If you run power only freight, you’ll want to prioritize loads inbound to and outbound from Jonesboro, Ark., this week, as demand and rates are projected to be extremely high.
Where Demand/Rates Will Be Highest or Rising This Week
Flatbed demand and rates for South Bend, Ind., Montgomery, Ala., and Ithaca, N.Y., are expected to be very high. Flatbed demand inbound to and outbound from Texarkana, Texas, is projected to rise.
Reefer demand and rates for Decatur, Ala., are expected to be high. Reefer demand to/from Fayetteville, Ark., and Texarkana, Texas, is likely to increase.
Power only demand and rates for Jonesboro, Ark., will be extremely high. Power only demand for Baltimore and Jefferson City, Mo., is expected to rise.
Where Freight Demand/Rates Will Be Lowest or Falling This Week
Flatbed demand and rates for Reno, Nev., and Brooklyn, N.Y., are projected to be very low.
Reefer demand and rates for Hartford, Conn., and Pittsburgh are likely to remain extremely low.
Power only demand and rates for Fayetteville, Ark., will be low.
