Mobile App: Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve made exciting upgrades to our mobile app, featuring a redesigned, more intuitive interface that makes finding and booking loads easier than ever. Our enhanced load board is now front and center, featuring improved search and filtering to help you quickly locate the perfect haul. With our new Book-It-Now feature, load booking is fast and hassle-free right from your device. Plus, tracking is easier to manage with simple start, pause, and stop options, and automatic updates save time by reducing check calls. Finally, enjoy optimized trip planning with real-time access to truck stops, fuel prices, weigh scales, and more to make your journeys smoother.

First, make sure you’re on the Track tab at the bottom of the screen. Enter your phone number to pull up your load tracks, and you’ll see your active tracks listed. Select the load you want to track, then tap the green ‘Start Track’ button to begin tracking. For the best experience, please set your location permissions to ‘Always Allow.’ If they aren’t set to ‘Always Allow,’ a red banner will appear above the ‘Start Track’ button to guide you in updating your settings.

To create an account, simply click ‘Sign up’ when accessing any feature that requires a login. You can also go to ‘Carrier Profile’ and select ‘Sign up’ by clicking the profile icon in the top right corner of your screen.

The app is now organized into three main tabs at the bottom of your screen: Track, Book, and More. Track: Manage all load tracking assigned to your phone number here. Book: Access the Trucker Tools load board to find available loads. More: Find additional features like Points of Interest, Route & Fuel Optimizer, and Axle Weight Calculator.

We’ve added new filter options to make load searches even easier. To access these filters, simply click the pencil icon at the top of the load list on the Book tab. Once you’ve adjusted the filters to your needs, click the red ‘Search’ button to apply your changes.

No account needed! Just head to the bottom left corner and enter the phone number associated with your load. Trucker Tools will instantly show all your active and past tracks based on your phone number.
