Where’s the Freight? High Demand for Trucks to/from Miami, Houston, Wichita, Southwestern Ontario and Boston This Week

Share it:

Happy Friday! Yesterday, the Marco Polo, an ocean carrier the length of three and a half football fields, docked in New Jersey. It’s the largest container ship ever to visit the East Coast and it will be docking at ports in Norfolk, Va., Savannah, Ga., and Charleston, S.C., in the coming week.

It’s no surprise then that in today’s edition of Trucker Tools’ “Where’s the Freight,?” several East Coast dry van markets appear in our top five and rising markets lists, including Norfolk, Va., Miami and Boston. Reefer demand is projected to be high or increasing in two regions of the Pacific Northwest this week, while demand for reefer and flatbed will be on the rise in one large Texas market. Also noteworthy in this edition of “Where’s the Freight?” is that there are no power only markets included in any of today’s hot and cold markets lists.

For more insights into where demand for trucks will be high, low, increasing and decreasing over the next week, scroll down to read this Friday edition of Trucker Tools’ free market report “Where’s the Freight?.”
