Happy Friday, y’all, and welcome to the newest edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” Trucker Tools’ free freight forecast for fleets and owner operators. “Where’s the Freight?” uses data from Trucker Tools’ technology platforms to predict with accuracy where demand and rates for dry van, flatbed, reefer and power only truckload capacity will be high and low over the next five to seven day period. With this information in hand, you can prioritize loads into and out of regions where demand is projected to be high and avoid loads into markets where there’ll likely be few and/or low paying backhauls.

In the coming week, the Texarkana, Texas, flatbed market once again is expected to be the hottest freight market across the United States and Canada, registering number one in today’s Top Five Hottest Markets list. Texarkana, Texas, also is ranked number two in today’s Top Five (Way to go, Texarkana!) for its reefer market.

Keep reading for more insights into which freight markets will be hot and cold across the U.S. and Canada this week.
