Welcome to your
mid-week edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” Trucker Tools’ free freight market
report for fleets and drivers. In this and every edition of “Where’s the
Freight?,” you’ll discover where demand and rates are projected to be high,
low, increasing and decreasing over the next five to seven days.
As we look
ahead to the next week, you can expect extremely high demand for flatbed
capacity inbound to and outbound from Texarkana, Texas. The region is known as
a manufacturing center for lumber products, mobile homes, municipal hardware,
railroad tank cars, sand and gravel, which is likely driving elevated demand.
In the coming week, you also can expect to see high demand for power only
capacity for New Castle, Del., as well as an uptick in demand for power only
capacity inbound to and outbound from Savannah, Ga., and Denver. If you run
reefer, you’ll want to monitor the Ithaca, N.Y., reefer market in the coming
week, as demand is projected to increase significantly.
