Happy Friday and welcome to your T.G.I.F. edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” Trucker Tools’ free freight market report for owner operators and trucking companies. In every edition of “Where’s the Freight?,” you’ll learn where demand and rates will be high and low over the next five to seven days.
This week, you can expect reefer demand to remain high in several U.S. markets including Tucson, Ariz., which is ranked number one in today’s Top Five Hottest Markets list. Over the next five to seven day period, demand for power only capacity inbound to and outbound from Montgomery, Ala., likely will remain high, while the Bloomington, Ill., power only market is projected to see extremely low demand this week.

Where Demand/Rates Will Be Highest or Rising This Week
Flatbed demand and rates for Texarkana, Texas, are likely to increase.
Reefer demand and rates for Tucson, Ariz., Texarkana, Texas, Decatur, Ala., and Spokane, Wash., will be extremely high. Reefer demand to/from Dodge City, Kan., and Texarkana, Texas, is projected to rise.
Power only demand and rates for Montgomery, Ala., are expected to remain high. Power only demand to/from Buffalo, N.Y., and Jonesboro, Ark. likely will increase.
Where Freight Demand/Rates Will Be Lowest or Falling This Week
Flatbed demand and rates for Brooklyn, N.Y., are likely to be very low. Flatbed demand to/from Gary, Ind., is expected to decline.
Reefer demand and rates for Hartford, Conn., and Pittsburgh are likely to be low. Reefer demand to/from Grand Junction, Colo., is projected to decrease.
Power only demand and rates for Bloomington, Ill., and Tulsa, Okla., will be extremely low. Power only demand for Jackson, Miss., is expected to decline.
